Working together with exhibiting artist Ryan Patrick Krueger, you will develop your own unique assemblages, working from vintage yearbooks, magazines, and photographs. We will collectively learn to develop new meaning from old imagery to reveal new narratives. You can bring a selection of your own archival pictures from sources such as family albums or old books, or work with the printed material provided such as magazines, yearbooks, and photographs.
Note: You should select material that you do not mind cutting, pasting and collaging. All assemblages will be created on an 11x14 wood panel for you to take home with you.
Open to folks with any experience level – this class is reserved as a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community to connect and create together.
